The European Health Centre, formerly known as the British Surgery, was founded in 2008 by British Doctor James Harris, who managed the practice alongside his associate, Doctor Basma Basma.
In 2010, Doctor Harris returned to England, and the surgery came under new administration, with Doctor Basma Basma assuming the role of Medical Director. The British Surgery was then renamed TEHC: The European Health Centre.
Since 2020, Dr. Velazquez has served as the General Practitioner, bringing his extensive experience as a surgeon, alongside a new management team.
Recently, TEHC has expanded to become not only a one-day care medical facility but also a Beauty and Massage Centre, offering a comprehensive range of treatments focused only on your health and wellbeing.
As a medical practice, TEHC serves as your GP abroad. We offer general consultations, treat a variety of medical conditions, perform routine checkups, recommend prescription medications, provide healthcare advice, conduct diagnoses, and refer patients to specialist consultants when necessary.

The clinic is located in Playa de Las Américas, Costa Adeje, opposite Santander Bank and next to Hotel Las Palmeras, easily accessible on foot, by car (with parking), or public transport.

At TEHC, we primarily speak English, but our multilingual team also communicates in Spanish, Italian, French, and German.
